Freeze, freeze, freeze!Most foods, vegetables and fruit can be stored frozen. When foods are in ample supply at low costs (eg. Tomatoes), buy them in abundance, wash them and freeze for later use. When freezing soups or sauces, use a freezer bag. Squeeze out all the air and store them flat. Once you have cut an onion or garlic clove, use the entire thing or store in a sealed container or cling wrap.
